Dustin Heggem, Broker/Owner 

Dustin Heggem, Co-Owner, is Acuity Group’s Primary Broker and is responsible for overseeing the staff and real estate agents at Acuity Group, as well as day to day company management.  Dustin has a strong Business Management background and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Mankato State University.

Dustin is the lead Listing Agent at Acuity Group and possesses all of the traits required to be an outstanding Realtor!  He is a go getter and is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate transactions.  He is up to date on local market conditions and community trends, is well known within the community, and highly respected among fellow agents.  Dustin works hard for his clients, pays attention to details, and is a tenacious contract negotiator – he gets the job done!  Check out the testimonials from his very satisfied customers!

Dustin also has extensive experience in real estate development, new construction, remodeling and project management.  He is uniquely qualified to work as his client’s best advocate whether they are selling, buying, renting or building new.  His experience, skills and knowledge are valuable assets in the Property Management field when it comes to trouble-shooting issues and home repairs; saving the owners both expense and stress.  As a landlord of his own rental property, Dustin knows firsthand the inherent challenges of renting a property and maintaining good tenancy.

Stephanie Danielson - Broker, Acuity Group

Stephanie Danielson, Broker/Owner

Stephanie is Co-Owner of Acuity Group and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Stephanie’s responsibilities include; company policy development, customer and community relations, and short sale negotiations.  Additionally, Stephanie developed and oversees Acuity Group’s broad based print and online marketing strategies that promote Acuity Group’s properties for sale and rent.

Stephanie began her real estate career in 1998 and has completed hundreds of real estate transactions spanning all price ranges and property types. She is keenly aware of what it takes to excel in the real estate industry.

Stephanie is an experienced contract negotiator and possesses a solid knowledge base of the real estate process from start to close.   In fact, in 2005, with the help of her team at Danielson Professional Group, she earned the award as #1 Minnesota Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker affiliate offices.

Stephanie and her husband, Kevin Huggins, are empty nesters and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren whenever possible. Stephanie also enjoys entertaining, reading, nature walks, beach time, and going to the drag racing track with Kevin, who races his 67 Nova as often as possible!

Sara Hill, Office Administrator

Sara Hill has been in the Real Estate industry since 1998. Starting as a Realtor’s Assistant, she attained a firm knowledge of the real estate business from the ground up. This has guided her through the years and continues to be the foundation of her real estate expertise.

Sara joined Acuity Group in 2010 and began working in property management in 2011. She manages the real estate office and handles all accounting for the rental business. Property management presents new and interesting challenges each day and she loves the fulfillment it provides. Marketing, client relations, and keeping a real estate office current are all a part of her daily routine.

She is a graduate from the College of St Benedict with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and departmental distinction for her research work. Married in 1987, she raised her two children before re-entering the workforce in 1998. Currently, she and her husband enjoy living on their hobby farm in Ramsey, skiing in the winters, spending time at their cabin in the summers, morning jogs with her dogs and evening walks together.

Kelly Henchen, Realtor

Kelly Henchen is a licensed Realtor and Property Manager who brings valuable experience and knowledge to Acuity. Since joining the company in 2011, Kelly has been in the real estate market every day and has attained a comprehensive knowledge of our local market. She owns her own rental property, providing her the first-hand experience of being a landlord. Additionally, Kelly worked for years in government housing which laid the strong foundation for her work in the private sector. As a Realtor, Kelly is acutely aware of current Real Estate and Rental Industry market conditions.

As much as she enjoys the rental aspect of Real Estate, Kelly loves working with buyers! She has helped many clients find wonderful homes and most enjoys this aspect of being a licensed Realtor. Finding that “perfect fit” home for her clients, negotiating the purchase agreement, and coordinating the smooth closing utilize her talents and result in highly satisfied clients.

Having grown up in Zimmerman and now living in Elk River, this is the area Kelly calls home. She and her husband, Michael, have found it to be a wonderful place to raise their sons, Trent and Bryce. When not at work, Kelly loves to travel, 4-wheel and summer camp, and take evening walks with their 2 Labs, Bailey and Hunter.

Nick Zerwas, Realtor

Nick Zerwas is a licensed Realtor who also serves in the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 30A. Nick grew up in Elk River, has deep roots in his community, and truly cares about the people who live here.  Nick feels as though he knows nearly everyone in town (and probably does)!

Jennie Kunz , Realtor/Office Support

Growing up in the NW Suburbs with a mom whom was a Realtor, Jennie became a property manager in 2005.  During her legacy as a property manager Jennie worked with HUD/MHA – section 8, Tax Credit –section 42, Rural Development, Market Rate, TIFF, Associations, & Commercial locations.  Jennie was known for taking a rental location from being a community’s nemesis to a community’s favorite gathering space.  Jennie earned the property manager of the year award in 2014.

Jennie’s passion for asset preservation expanded in 2015 as she became a Transaction Coordinator; working also as an assistant in New Construction helping Clients with all aspects of their new home purchase.  Jennie’s favorite part of New Construction was assisting each client their design selections.  Jennie obtained her Realtor license in 2016, and continues working with Buyers & Sellers. Jennie takes pride in helping others; whether that is rental or homeownership, educating them on the options that they would have with either choice.   Jennie’s relentless pursuit of perfection as a transactional engineer is matched by her enthusiasm to get the “Best” deal for her clients.

Johnny Vanden Hoek, Broker Associate ~ Victory Team

Johnny VandenHoek, started his Real Estate career in 2002 while finishing his Bachelors degree in Business Management/ Finance. He is an experienced Broker and an expert in Real Estate,  with his first real estate purchase at the age of twenty.

Johnny is a master negotiator for his real estate clients, both buyer and sellers. He has completed hundreds of real estate transactions since he started his career.  Prior to joining the Acuity Group in 2018, he built a book a of recurring business solely from referrals.  His relaxed presence, personal integrity, and devotion to doing an excellent job for his clients, helps complete even the most complicated transactions. Johnny’s knowledge of market conditions, attention to detail on contracts, and reputation in the industry has made him a sought-after choice for both buyers and sellers.

Kristi Stilwell, Bookkeeping

Kristi has lived in the NW Metro area the majority of her life and currently resides in St Francis with her husband and their two children.

She started her business career with Copper Sales in 1988 as a receptionist, moved into the billing/computer department and then proceeded to their purchasing/inventory division. After leaving Copper Sales, she held various office and administrative positions, which allowed her to learn all aspects of business relations.

Kristi has known and worked with Stephanie Danielson since 2002 performing receptionist and administrative tasks, marketing duties, website management and bookkeeping. Kristi is a loyal and talented team player who is always up to the task at hand.

Mandy Thomsen, Realtor

Mandy joins the team at Acuity Group after working in sales for many years. She grew up locally in Nowthen, Minnesota and now resides there with a family of her own. She specializes in new construction and land development. She works closely with Northland Custom Homes; a local, family owned, Construction Company.  Northland loves building customers their dream homes and making all of their dreams a reality!  While working with Northland as an office assistant she discovered her love of design. After assisting with design for a few years she decided to make the jump into realty and became a licensed Realtor in 2018.  Her extensive knowledge of new construction and home design is a huge asset as we know this can be a daunting task to many.

Mandy, her husband Cory, and their three daughters live in Nowthen. They spend their time farming, traveling, getting together with family and friends, and enjoying life in the country.

Cliff Rowe, Realtor

In 1989, Cliff bought his farm in Nowthen, MN and married his wife, Amy. Here they raised their four children and built their business. Cliff continues to work in real estate, purchase investment properties, and run Berry Hill HVAC. Due to Cliff’s strong construction and mechanical background, he has been able to help many investor buyers make informed decisions when purchasing rental or resale properties. He is extremely valuable to buyers looking for a “fixer-upper”, as he lends his expertise to the cost of necessary repairs and/or improvements.

At Berry Hill Farm, Cliff and his family take pride in working together raising strawberries and pumpkins. With Amy and their children, they have made a wonderful place for people to come and pick berries in the summer and pumpkins in the fall, while enjoying a day full of activities on the farm. They also have a barn available for weddings and parties throughout the year!

Cliff is most proud of his family, who will soon all be moved out, leaving the couple as empty nesters. Our guess, though, is that their farm will always be a wonderful place they share with family and friends.
