-Contact Acuity Group and request a market analysis. This will give you an idea of how much money you’ll net from your home sale.

-Talk to your Financial Advisor and base your decision on financial sense.

-If a property interests you, first review its average utility costs and deferred maintenance.

-If you no longer want to care for outside maintenance issues, moving into an association-maintained property or apartment may be your best option.

-If moving to an association-maintained community, know their rules and regulations, as well as what your dues cover.

-If you prefer to rent, visit Zillow.com for up-to-date listings, or SeniorHousing.net for 55+ rental communities.

-If your desire is to purchase, one of our Buyer Specialists will set you up on a custom MLS search so you can view listings as they become available.

-Think long-range such as: single-level living with no stairs, an open floor plan which optimizes living space, a walk-in shower or tub should also be considered.

-Choose a location convenient to where your interests lie, including shopping, doctor offices, transportation sources, religious worship, distance to family and friends, etc.
